30 years ago the House of Commons pledged to end poverty by the year 2000. Now in 2019, Oakville has 3000 families using Safetynet charities, 600 families using food banks and 4.9% of families live under the Low Income Measure.

Indigenous Land Acknowledgement

We invite you to join in acknowledging our shared responsibility to make good of this time, and for each of us to consider our roles in reconciliation, decolonization, and allyship.
